Leadership and Managing Performance
This is a course designed for those who have to manage the performance of others, and ultimately the performance of the business as a whole.
Today many organisations are quarterly or half yearly driven, therefore most managers become “results orientated”, which means panic sets in at the end of the quarter or half year if the required numbers have not been achieved. Then reactive management takes over with “no spend months”, “head count freezes”, “cut costs at any cost” all with the aim of trying to look more profitable. This continuous “roller coaster”
of success and failure will never change until management stop managing the results and start managing the process.
